What do I need the product for?
Medium-chain fatty acids (MCT fatty acids) can be used directly by the body. Digestion and absorption is therefore much faster than that of short- or long-chain fatty acids. MCT fatty acids are converted in the liver into another energy unit, the ketone bodies. Therefore, the product is particularly suitable for a ketogenic diet, in which carbohydrates are largely avoided.
